This Is Ashley F. of Valparaiso and her horse Brego. Winners of my Hoosier Horse Fair free session drawing. At first it didn't seem so lucky that I had drawn a name of someone half across the state, however at the end of the day I couldn't have been more pleased.
This freebie session started with a road trip with my best friend Kara. Kara's job was navigator/ear girl for the horse. However the job also evolved to dairy farm museum co-explorer (yep, why not?) and co-conspirator of the consumption of way too much junk food. We had a great time and made many inside jokes and memories to add to our long friendship.
After our eventful road trip we arrived at Ashley's barn with lovely summer weather and evening light. I was also so pleased because Ashley is not only stunningly beautiful but sweet and gracious as well. It was wonderful talking with her and seeing the future in such a bright young woman pursuing her education in hopes of working in the horse industry.
Best of luck Ashley in all your goals with Brego and your college career. Thank you for a truly wonderful evening!

Here is an idea that was a year in the making. Four 10x10 gallery wraps, one of each of my daughter taken in the Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer and hung together in our kitchen.
The background of the orange hat one could have been more Fall like ( it was taken in October, really!) but I just couldn't resist using that one. It makes everyone smile and is so her.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone out at the Hoosier Horse Fair this weekend. I will be in booth 118 in the South Pavilion and will have some of my work displayed in the Indiana Miniature Equine Club's booth as well.
