Here is an idea that was a year in the making. Four 10x10 gallery wraps, one of each of my daughter taken in the Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer and hung together in our kitchen.
The background of the orange hat one could have been more Fall like ( it was taken in October, really!) but I just couldn't resist using that one. It makes everyone smile and is so her.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone out at the Hoosier Horse Fair this weekend. I will be in booth 118 in the South Pavilion and will have some of my work displayed in the Indiana Miniature Equine Club's booth as well. I'm so excited, be sure to stop in, say "hi" and enter my drawing for a free session!

One of the best things about photography is using it as a way to give back to my amazing friends.
I have know my dear friend Liz a long time and her husband J even longer. Since introducing them in college I have watched them grow from a couple to a beautiful family. I always know I can count on them. Our kids are close and the two year olds are planning on getting married. (so cute!)
We had a great time making these portraits. Their boys were over to play with my daughter and everyone jumped in for some pictures to document the fun and a second generation friendship.
Love those cute hats, it might be the only thing I will miss about winter!

Oh newborns, they are so little, so sweet and so sleepy they don't mind me posing them. These are some birth announcements photos I took of this little handsome guy when he was only two days old and still in the hospital. Each one of the portraits was taken with him wrapped in his mom's arms, right where he wanted to be.
After photographing his mom's pregnancy over the last couple months and getting to know his fabulous parents it was so exciting to finally meet baby C. He has the most perfect head of little man hair, born looking already styled. I'm really looking forward to seeing him again for his two week old newborn session.
Switching gears but sticking with my "baby" theme, I'm headed out to Carey's horse farm tomorrow morning to photograph their latest Belgium foals. I'm hoping the sunshine will last just one more morning (Please???) Wish me luck, hopefully will have some very cute baby horse pictures to share soon.
